Bio: Gede is the visionary behind Luxury Bali Trip. Born and raised in a village near Ubud, he has a profound connection to Balinese culture and a world-class understanding of luxury service standards. After two decades managing some of the world’s most acclaimed resorts, Gede founded Luxury Bali Trip to offer a more personal, authentic, and curated way to experience his home island. He personally cultivates our relationships with private villa owners and community leaders, ensuring our guests receive unparalleled access and genuine hospitality.
Sofia Lestari
Head of Curation & Itinerary Design
Credentials: M.A. in Southeast Asian Studies, Certified Travel Associate (CTA), Member of PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) Indonesia Chapter.
Bio: Sofia is the master architect of our bespoke itineraries. With a background in cultural anthropology and years of experience designing high-end tours across the archipelago, she possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of Bali’s hidden gems. Sofia’s process involves deep consultation with each client to understand their unique interests—be it culinary arts, wellness, adventure, or spiritual exploration. She has an incredible network of contacts, from renowned yoga instructors in Ubud to private chefs in Seminyak and marine biologists in Nusa Lembongan.

Lead Guide & Cultural Ambassador
Credentials: Certified Expert Guide (Pramuwisata Madya) by Himpunan Pramuwisata Indonesia (HPI), Licensed by the Bali Tourism Office (Dinas Pariwisata).
Bio: Komang is the face and voice of Bali for many of our guests. As our lead guide, he is not just a tour leader but a storyteller, a cultural interpreter, and a friend on the ground. He has led private tours for diplomats, celebrities, and discerning families for over 15 years. Komang’s expertise lies in making Balinese Hinduism, local traditions, and historical narratives accessible and engaging.
